Your vote needed by October 5 to win!

COLUMBIA, Mo 10/1/14 (Release) --
The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri could win $60,000 with your help!

Walmart is giving away three million dollars to fight hunger and we want a slice of that pie. Fight Hunger, Spark Change is an online voting contest and the country’s 50 Food Banks that have the most votes by October 5 each get a $60,000 check from Walmart.

To vote, visit http://www.walmart.com/fighthunger, scroll down to the voting section, enter "Missouri" in the search bar, and select The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.

To insure someone can only vote once a day, Walmart is verifying voters by their Facebook account. After you log in, vote! You’ll be reminded of the next time you can vote, which makes it easier to vote the same time each day.

Remember – vote every day and encourage your friends, family and coworkers to vote each day. If we’re in the top 50 by the end of the contest, we’ll have another $60,000 to help feed hungry people in central and northeast Missouri.

That’s more than 750,000 meals for those in need.

The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri is a regional food network providing food to 140 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior programs and 142 elementary schools with the Buddy Pack program in 32 counties in central and northeast Missouri.
