ON HIATUS: A short note about the Columbia Heart Beat

After 11 years, a well-deserved break

COLUMBIA, 9/28/16 (Beat Byte) -- To the many people who've sent us story ideas, press releases, interview requests, hot tips, and general inquiries, we appreciate your interest!

But after publishing daily since 2005 -- becoming Columbia's one and only alternative news source -- the Columbia Heart Beat has been on hiatus since early August.

Our boss man and publisher, Mike Martin, has relocated his primary business -- old/historic building renovation/preservation -- to another community.   

We may publish periodically, but there are no plans to restart regular (daily) publication (though that could change).

It's been a pleasure serving Columbia readers over the past 11 years (has it been that long?!)
