We are asking that individuals provide donations, which are tax deductible through the United Way. We are also asking for local businesses to begin fundraising within their own company. All funds collected will go directly to the community of Joplin for recovery efforts.Live entertainment and appetizers will be provided. A live telethon produced by KOMU 8 will be hosted by Sarah Hill and broadcast worldwide. During the telethon, community leaders will be answering donation calls.
