COLUMBIA, 5/17/10  (Beat Byte) -- With post-election fundraising reports tallied, it's official:  Columbia's 2010 mayoral race may have been one of the most expensive in city history.

Leading the pack:  Dr. Bob McDavid, with nearly $62,000 and a contribution from developer Tom Atkins -- $2,348 one day after the election, April 7.   Coming in a distant second, Jerry Wade raised just over $32,000.  Local development lawyer and TDD advocate Craig van Matre made a last minute contribution to Wade's campaign, hedging his bets with $1,500 on March 30.   Paul Love, in third place, raised $1,551.

Council races had Sarah Read in the 4th Ward raising just over $8,000 and Karl Skala in the 3rd Ward, raising roughly $11,000.

In the Columbia Public School Board race, Jonathan Sessions outraised Phil Peters, $17,284 to $7,343.

Reports for other candidates were not online.

I've looked for the report on Keep Columbia Safe's finances and have found none. Anyone know where to find it?
